How Hydrogen Generators Work
Usually containing about a quart of distilled water with an electrolytic agent such as Lye (Sodium Hydroxide or Potassium Hydroxide) a canister produces Hydrogen/Oxygen gas when current is applied to the system through neutral and positive stainless steel plates. The hydrogen oxygen gas that is split from the water is directed into your vehicles intake or vacuum system. The HHO Gas creates a more efficent combustion burn in the engine which has a host of benifits to the vehicles performance. Water and electrolyte levels are checked about every tank of fuel.

This Hydrogen fuel-cell (PEM) powered Allis-Chalmers Tractor was on the market in 1959 until someone convinced the manufacturer to drop the product in favor of gas and diesel powered farm equipment. This picture is here for two reasons:
1) To call into question the auto maker claims that fuel cell technology is "so difficult", and then charge naive government agencies a million bucks per "test" passenger car.
2) To appeal for anyone with information about this tractor's dissapearance to  the whole story!
